You reach for more coffee or a sugary snack.Head home and rush to get your errands done and spend time with loved ones.Throw together a pre-packaged meal or pick up take out.Maybe squeeze in a boredom inducing workout.Get stressed about all the things you still need to do and the lack of time for things you want to be doing.Rush to bed so you can do it all over again tomorrow.
Whether you are a teacher, doctor, librarian, CEO, telemarketer, programmer, or something I’ve never heard of, I bet you can relate.
And a few years ago, I could to.
I spent years on the “right track”: going to college and graduate school, getting a well-paying job, getting married, buying a big house, and then BOOM I realized I wasn’t happy.
I wanted more. I wanted magic. I wanted passion.
I spent years in the wrong career, feeling less than inspired and more than stressed. Then I found my passion.
And my passion happened to be healthy living.
It’s not just what I love, it’s what I live.
My favorite thing in the world is to help people see their path and help them shine, through pure health and happiness.
A few years ago, I decided to make it official and begin a new career. I studied at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, the World’s lead nutrition school, learning over 100 different dietary theories from today’s most innovative leaders in the field, such as Dr. Andrew Weil, AnneMarie Colbin, and Dr. Mark Hyman. We also studied the connection of stress and relationships on your health with leaders like Deepak Chopra.
Not only am I a Health Coach, trained to help you break through your food issues and lifestyle habits, I am a Yoga teacher and Mind-Body fitness Professional, with over 1000 hours of experience. I am the author of the soon-to-be released book, Detox 101, a 21-Day Guide to helping you deepen your awareness of stress and energy-suckers, improve your eating habits, and move your body to help you make healthy and happy changes for life. I am also a writer, featured on several online sites; a recipe developer and food photographer here at The House of Healthy; and a healthy living enthusiast.
I now fill my days doing things that make me sparkle, shine, and radiate. I love my job, love my life, and feel happy and healthy. With a little help, I can get you there too.
