Happy Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving just might be my favorite holiday of them all. I think it’s because the basis of the holiday is to love and be thankful. We come together with our family and friends each year, enjoy a meal cooked with love, and celebrate nothing more than being able to spend time together-which is one of the most important things around.
This year, I decided to share my top 10 things I am grateful for with all of you
1) My husband – the funnest AND smartest person I know ! And for loving me, even though I can be quite the pain the bum (not intentionally, I just get inspired by things and think before I act quite often – I’m working on it).
2) My family and friends – you all are amazing and I love you!
3) My pets – they bring me so much joy and love
4) Delicious vegan food and all the people who help to share their recipes and knowledge
5) Yoga and meditation – without a yoga practice or meditation, I’d be crazy. I’m sure of it 😉
6) The wonderful support from the yoga and fitness community where I live
7) The things that bring challenges to my life, because they help me learn and grow.
8) My love of learning. It may not be the most frugal hobby around, but it’s keeps me growing and expanding what I know and love.
9) The House of Healthy – having a creative outlet where I can connect to like-minded people and share what I know is one of the best things I’ve ever experienced!
10) YOU!! Without all of you, reading what I write, the House of Healthy wouldn’t be here. Thank you all for reading. You bring me joy every day!
In honor of giving thanks, and in honor of my meditation challenge soon ending I am challenging myself (and you if you;d like) to list 5 things I am grateful for each day. I will write it down so that when I feel down, I can look back and see all of the wonderful tings that are going well in my life.
