This Red, White, and Blue Salad is not only patriotic, but it’s full of color, antioxidants, and healthy ingredients to keep you full, satisfied, and energized!
Red, White, And Blue Salad:
Makes approximately 2 salads. Red strawberries, blue blueberries, and white seeds and nuts, and kind of cukes!
6 fresh strawberries, sliced
1 handful blueberries
2 tsps hemp seeds
1/2 cup almonds, sliced or chopped
1 large cucumber, chopped
2 cups/handfuls mixed greens
optional – tempeh slices (see previous recipe)
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp grapeseed oil
pinch salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp italian seasonings or oregano
Whisk together vinegar, oil, salt, garlic powder, and seasonings. Add other ingredients into two bowls. Top with dressing. Voila! Patriotic and healthy salad.
