Superfood Chocolate Shake

Sometimes, the biggest mistakes turn out to be some of the best creations. Such is the case with the Superfood Shake.

On Saturday, we woke up and started packing up some of our furniture and piling it into our truck. Why? We are moving across town. And moving means, lifting, sweating, and using HUGE amounts of energy, with very little time to stop and eat a meal. So I thought a quick and simple breakfast would be perfect. I had every intention of making delicious energy bites for us to eat for breakfast, until we headed to the other house where the juicer and produce was. 

But instead, I ended up with a chocolate shake. Which turned out to be pretty awesome, if I do say so myself.

And not only did it taste awesome, it was full of supportive inf=grdeitnt thtat kept us energized satisfied long into our move.

Superfood Chocolate Shake

Superfood Chocolate Shake:

Makes 2 servings

1-2 cups vanilla coconut milk

1/2 cup dark chocolate cocoa powder

1/2 cup raw cashews , soaked in water for at least 5 minutes

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp ground flax seeds

1 tsp maca root powder

2 frozen bananas

 

Blend all ingredients until smooth.  Serve it up. Drink it up. And enjoy!
