As you continue to move forward with your healthy intentions for the New Year, you may find that the one thing that holds you back and overwhelms you the most is figuring out how to shop smartly at your local grocery store. It’s easy when you have a large health food store nearby that you can pop in and out of at anytime, but these can be expensive, might not be near you, and even they have a few things that aren’t always healthy for you.
The key to ditching the stress and reducing the overwhelm is to learn how to navigate the grocery store with ease. Next time you head into the store, check out the layout. The grab-n-go snack and treats are staring at you while you wait to check out. The sales are right up front, begging you to reach for them, and all of the “goodies” are located on the end aisles, beckoning you to travel down them and into the world of processed goods. The perimeter is where the healthiest options are in ANY store – whether it’s your local Whole Foods or your run of the mill grocery store. In today’s video, we’ll discuss just how you can do this, with less stress, more ease, and much more healthy options. Make a list, grab a cart, and let’s get shopping!
