Mushroom and Onion Gravy

- 1 cup baby portabella mushrooms, diced
- ½ yellow onion, chopped
- ⅓ cup water
- ⅓ cup vegetable broth (low sodium)
- 1 tbsp tamari
- 1 tbsp arrowroot powder
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- pinch sea salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Heat olive oil in a medium pan oven medium-high heat.
- Add onions and sautee for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour water into your pan and add mushrooms.
- Stir in arrowroot powder, nutritional yeast, tamari, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Cook until heated throughly.
- If too thick, add more water or broth. If too thin, add more nutritional yeast or arrow root powder.
