Whoa. Having the internet go out for almost two days (ok late morning to early afternoon of the next day, but still!) can really throw you out of your comfort zone! Posting was kept to a minimum, which is why this one is oh-so-very late. But it’s a simple and sweet one, that’s for sure.
I thought I would give you something a little sweet today tonight π You deserve it. So go ahead and indulge – the healthy way.
I saw a post about this on FitSugar, and I couldn’t resist trying it out! I added a few different touches, and sent it your way. These make a great post-workout snack or just a healthy but filling pick-me-up between meals. They are a little sweet, a little savory, and a whole lotta yum. Plus they take less than 5 minutes to whip up!
Almond Butter Dates:
4 Medjool Dates (the big ones), pitted and cut in half lengthwise
1-2 tbsp almond butter
2 tsp hemp seeds
Stuff date halves with almond butter. Sprinkle with hemp seeds. Eat and smile or refrigerate until later.
PS I bet kids would LOVE these!
Hope you enjoy this quick and easy treat!
Peace and Love,
Jessi
