A few years ago, I decided to start a 3 week cleanse right after I left one job and before I started the other. I thought it would be a great transition and a way to clear out the old to make room for the new. And it was!
But it also fell in February – right smack in the middle of my husbands birthday and Valentine’s Day. Since I wasn’t consuming any dairy, processed sugar, or alcohol, it made for a unique Valentine’s dinner – I drank kombucha in a wine glass, and we had a mostly raw meal. It was awesome! And we followed it up with a healthy yet indulgent dessert of dark chocolate.
